Configuring your email signature
Set the personal email signature appended to your outbound candidate emails.
Where to set it
Go to Settings → Email Preferences (also reachable via the onboarding step "Add Email Signature" at /onboarding/email_signature).
The Email Preferences page contains both the signature editor and reply-to setup as separate cards.
The editor
- Rich-text editor with a text-only toolbar — basic formatting (bold, italic, lists, links) without complex media tools.
- Stored per-user.
- Save button: Save Email Signature.
What gets included
The signature you set here is appended to candidate-facing emails sent from CVViZ. Typical content:
- Your name.
- Your job title.
- Company name.
- Phone or social links if useful.
- Any short legal disclaimer required by your team.
Using the signature in templates
Email templates can reference your signature via the {{EMAIL_SIGNATURE}} placeholder. Drop this placeholder where you want the signature to render in any template at Settings → Email Templates.
Per-user, not org-wide
Each user maintains their own signature. CVViZ doesn't expose an org-wide mandatory signature block on this screen — anything required across the team is best handled through email templates with a fixed footer.
Tips
- Test by sending a candidate email to yourself after saving — confirms how it renders.
- Keep it short. Long signatures double in length on every reply.
- Use the
{{EMAIL_SIGNATURE}}placeholder in templates rather than pasting your signature text into each one — change once, applies everywhere.
